Heather isn’t just an event planner—she’s a creator of memories. As a mom herself, she understands what it’s like to want your child’s birthday to be perfect, or to impress colleagues at a corporate event. Her hands-on approach, eye for design, and Charleston roots make every event personal and unique.
Heather considers herself a serial entrepreneur and has opened several successful businesses in the Charleston-area. In addition to Pop Up Parties Charleston, Heather also owns Shine Bright Marquee, a sister company to Pop Up Parties, providing LED Marquee Letter Rentals in the Charleston-area.
Our Mission
Pop Up Parties started with a simple mission: to make hosting easier and more joyful. Heather, our founder, is a Charleston native and mom who loves creating beautiful spaces where people can come together. After planning her own children’s birthdays, she realized parents often spent more time worrying than celebrating. That’s when she decided to start Pop Up Parties—a company built on creativity, organization, and care.
